Film and video
Within the area of film and video, Plan Production has a diverse production portfolio:
* NEW full length documentary - Tobacco's Children
‘Tobacco’s Children’, produced by Plan Production Sweden in co-operation with Irving Media, has been broadcasted on Swedish national television. The documentary describes the international tobacco industry’s cynical behaviour in developing countries like Malawi, Brazil, Indonesia, and Bangladesh. Tougher legislation on home ground has the tobacco industry desperately hunting for new markets. The price developing countries are paying for this is increased occurrence of child labour and child mortality, uninhabited use of toxics and suicide, price fixing and increased poverty. ‘Tobacco’s Children’ lets William and Chifundo in Malawi, Maicol and Davi in Brazil, and Ruble and Boby in Bangladesh all have their say.
